A Lovely Meeting place

I've have been spending my weekend in Copenhagen. The days have been special in many ways and will have a big importance for me in the future.

Hotel Skt. Petri was the meeting place and the wonderful hotel did their outmost to please me.

Suite 602 is fantastic. Thank you for the upgrade. Select Collection will definitely recommend!

Spanish Evening

Yesterday we hosted a Spanish evening together with Hospes Hotels and Turismo Espana. 65 of our most valued clients came to attend the wine tasting by Sommelier and Wine editor Sofia Ander who is an expert in Spanish wines. Three red wines and one Cava was on the tasting menu. After thetasting we indulged in gorgeous hotels in Andalucia and enjoyed Spanish Tapas.

Special Dinner

Yesterday I did shopping at the Stockholm foodhall, wanted to prepare special dinner for a special friend

The foodhall at Östermalmstorg is only 5 min walk from Select Collection. Saturday is a day when you meet many friends and clients there shopping and having lunch.

Powerful Women

Thursday evening Select Collection invited the women from IWC (International Women's Club) to join for a luxury evening at our beautiful premises, enjoying Travel, Spa and our Lifestyle Boutique.

The women at IWC are all so lovely, have a taste for good things in life and enjoy.

Travelers in Japan

Today we have valued clients arriving back to Sweden after two weeks in Japan. We have a fantastic agent in Japan who has reported every day about the conditions and the feelings of our clients.

Our discerning Travelers had a wish to explore Japan in depth with the hidden corners. They experienced the unspoiled rustic beauty of Ishikawa, the ancient ambience in Kyoto and the great nature in Hakone with the legendary Japanese hot-spring culture. They were so lucky to be in the safe part of the country and in safe hands when earthquakes strike.



A special thank you to Eriko Kaminashi and her company for all great work. Everyone at Select Collection is so sorry and sad about the devastating happenings.

Busy days in Berlin

Our Director of Products and Marketing Fredrik and I have just arrived to Berlin where we will attend ITB - the world's largest travel trade show Internationale Tourismus-Börse.

We look forward to negotiating the very best deals for our valued clients for our next brochure, the collection 2012-2014. In Berlin, Egypt and other countries in the Middle East are keen to show what they can offer after the difficult time they have been through. Also Libya is represented at ITB as transparency is most important now in order to achieve democracy and support the liberalization.

The Four Seasons Sharm el Sheikh is a lovely hotel and one of our best sellers.

Great Team

Monday I was in Oslo to celebrate the 10 years anniversary with my Norwegian Team. What a great team! We were joking about the recession that Norway didn't seem to have!! Yes, the recession has been slightly milder in Norway but I also know after running Select Collection for almost 20 years that there are no short cuts in our business. It's all about building trust and delivering! Well done! I'm so happy to finally have a great team in all countries.

The celebration dinner was taking place at the very popular Asian restaurant calked Dinner.

We had a private corner and we were indeed enjoying the good food. We were also celebrating Erland, the good looking Viking sitting next to me - Erland has been with the company for 10 years! The first one to join and we were toasting for his great contribution and loyalty.

Everyone wanted the Crispy Duck as a starter, 10 points ! And I had a lovely soft shell crab as a main course which you can admire in the pic.
