Beautifully beachside

I visited a beautiful new hotel yesterday on Koh Samui for lunch and a hotel inspection. Facing clear blue sea, Vana Belle lies on the long white sands of Chaweng Noi beach and offers privacy and views.

It was lovely to meet old friends like Sandrine Boutin. Last time we met she was at One&Only Le Saint Géran on Mauritius.

We enjoyed delicious Thai food

The hotel is close to Chaweng but still feels like a retreat in its beachside position ringed by lush vegetation.

Costa Navarino is a great combination with the Athens Riviera, and we had a wonderful stay there after my 4-day birthday celebration at The Margi. Some 3.5 hours drive from Athens on a pristine coastline the Romanos makes a soothing hideaway. There is lots to do too, especially for sporty people. Or you can just chill out…
