Mexican for Stockholm

I think this is just what Stockholm needs! An authentic Mexican restaurant to add to the charms of this chic and lively city. So I am proud that my son Jonatan will be opening a Mexican at Birgerjarlsgatan in the center of Stockholm at the end of May.

The opening for invited guests is 30 May. It is open to the general public on 5 June.

High quality, real Mexican food will be the attraction, and a great after-work scene with properly Mexican Tequilas and Margaritas...

To launch the new restaurant in the right style we are bringing in the executive chef from Maroma in Mexico for the opening, as well as Edgar Chavez, Su-chef from that same fine dining haven.

Last Paradise Kids

Soneva Fushi is one of my personal favorites, and my customers love it, both couples and families. When I was last there we discussed a  possible kids camp. Not just fun and adventure, but teaching kids about how to preserve this precious paradise.

I am so happy that we now have an exciting 7-day programme ready for kids along with special offers for the whole family. The week-long camps begin on 24th June and 10th July 2013. Ask our team of travel consultants for more information  or just book your place...

The camp offers an enriching experience - all you expect of the Maldives and more - from learning to snorkel, monitoring coral reefs and studying turtles to visiting Maldivian communities. The kids study the stars through the island telescope and learn about the wonderful ways that Soneva Fushi creates energy and uses waste.

Not just a luxury holiday for the family in a Crusoe Villa in paradise, but looking into the future of our planet.

Romance on Rails

For the first time ever the celebrated Orient-Express has included Stockholm in one of its glamorous journeys. And as the legendary train glided out of the Swedish capital yesterday bound for Copenhagen and beyond, I was onboard for a lavish overnight experience.

Welcoming us at Stockholm station Platform 10
yesterday were Giulio Stix and Lucy Clark

Welcome

We were in for a journey of exquisite pampering

In art deco carriages that take you back in time
to the 20s and 30s

And now for a welcome drink in vintage milieu...

Enjoying the ambience of the piano bar

Discreet style
Harmonious surroundings

And then for a four course repast in the antique dining car, glassware and silverware glittering

All dressed up and ready for a beautiful dinner
Fillet of veal was the main

Attentive service

White chocolate mousse

Afterwards more time for passengers to socialize in the bar car, where many of the world's rich and famous swapped stories and sipped G&Ts in the 1920s.

Then a night to enjoy our vintage sleeping cars as we glided through the Swedish countryside

Breakfast in our beautiful cabin
