A tropical hideaway

From the isle of Koh Samui to Krabi, a gorgeous corner of the world, with limestone  islands, turquoise seas and green jungles. I flew with Bangkok Airways and it took only 45 minutes.  In economy class they served lunch on this short trip and the ticket cost only 545 sek. Amazing.

Fly boutique, feel unique

On arrival at Krabi my first visit was to Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, about half an hour’s drive from the airport. Set in wide tropical gardens this retreat captures intimacy and casual sophistication with inviting lounging areas, divine views and only 54 villas and pavilions.
Gorgeous pool area

Water and palms

Tables with a view
Light and white, spacious and contemporary

What a way to live...
There are bathrooms here to dream about.

My hosts were …

Ana Gorjão Henriques General Manager  and
 Carlos Tarrero Director of Operations

We had a delicious lunch and site inspection, and then I was driven to the Krabi pier for the next adventure….

More about Krabi next time.

Blue Ribbon delights

Flying Blue Ribbon with Bangkok Airways I had a really pleasant flight direct from Hong Kong to Koh Samui – only 3 hours.

Bangkok Airways is known as the Boutique Airline of Asia. In  business  (Blue Ribbon Class) you get your own checkin and lounge at Hong Kong airport  – where we  were attended to by really friendly staff and enjoyed real food and showers. We also got a 30 kg luggage allowance.

On board...

...the air hostess was truly sweet
and service minded

We got a full 3-course  meal.

Here a starter and a glass of Pinot Noir ...

The last glass for 8 days as I'm going to Kamalaya Wellness Center…

Talk to you soon…a healthier me
