Four Seasons invite

Me and my son Jonatan were invited to the Four Seasons Resort in Marrakech this weekend. It was a Recognition Event organized by the Management of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
It was a fantastic weekend and a big thank you to the General Manager Jean Claude Wietzel and his team. They did a fantastic job. I also want to thank you Four Seasons for the generousity and I feel very privileged to be the only Nordic Travel operator invited to this unforgettable event.

Hermitage Bay

Last day in Antigua at the beautiful Hermitage Bay. We are now off to Jumby Bay for villa inspection before catching the LIAT flight to Anguilla.

Happy Birthday

Today is the birthday of my friend and long time colleague from the travel business, Micheline Perisson. She works for Beachcomber Hotels and I had the pleasure of having lunch with some Beachcomber representatives when they visited our office in Stockholm last week.

Steeves Cho Chee Lip, Jacque Silvant, me and Fredrik Ottosson and last but not least Micheline Perisson.

Micheline and I have worked together for 18 years! This is a picture of us from one of the first times we met at a travel fair.

Great feedback

Our valued clients often write to us with feedback from their trips. Every once in a while an exceptional letter comes along, from someone so happy about their hotel experience they only have overwhelming things to say.

This happened yesterday, when we received an e-mail from clients staying at the gorgeous Alva Park outside Barcelona. They especially enjoyed the butterfly surprise and below I will let you in on their own words to the General Manager of Alva Park.

"When we arrived we were very satisfied with our junior suite, and admired its tasteful decorations and ample bathroom, kitchen and office equipment. Then, on the day after our arrival, you offered us the hotel’s very best suite! ... Apart from the splendid accommodation, we were amazed at the courtesy services offered us. They went far over and above what we could ever have expected: the welcome dinner in the wonderful Grand Butterfly Garden, the private, most interesting excursion to Girona, and finally the exquisite farewell dinner in the “secret” private dining room.
All this would not have made our stay such an unforgettable experience without the exceptional friendliness and attentiveness shown by yourself and your staff.
We hope to be able to come back to Alva Park some day. Until then we wish you all the best in running this outstanding place"

Last night we were a group of friends having a lovely birthday dinner at Story Hotel, celebrating Garman.

Garman is not just a good friend but also our IT guru at Select Collection.

The Story Hotel in Stockholm has a warm atmosphere and very good food.

A Lovely Meeting place

I've have been spending my weekend in Copenhagen. The days have been special in many ways and will have a big importance for me in the future.

Hotel Skt. Petri was the meeting place and the wonderful hotel did their outmost to please me.

Suite 602 is fantastic. Thank you for the upgrade. Select Collection will definitely recommend!

Spanish Evening

Yesterday we hosted a Spanish evening together with Hospes Hotels and Turismo Espana. 65 of our most valued clients came to attend the wine tasting by Sommelier and Wine editor Sofia Ander who is an expert in Spanish wines. Three red wines and one Cava was on the tasting menu. After thetasting we indulged in gorgeous hotels in Andalucia and enjoyed Spanish Tapas.
