Marbella Club

A five star legend... If the walls could talk..

Together for lunch with 'Rudy' Count Rudolf Schönburg
Rudy is a great personality and has been with MC almost from the start. He told me interesting stories how it all started.

Queen Isabella La Catolica, while travelling stopped between Malaga and Gibraltar, looked out across the Mediterranean and gasped 'Que Mar Bella' (what a beautiful sea)! This is how Marbella came by its name.

Prince Alfonso Hohenlohe-Langenburg, the founder of Marbella Club, fifty years ago

The lunch buffe at MC is outstanding

'Cigales' specially prepared with garlic

It's not all about the pools and the sea but also beautiful big gardens.

Healthy Morning

After yoga and stretching, it's great with a long healthy breakfast at Marbella Club. They know my habits from last year so I got a very tasteful cappuccino with hazelnut milk, they had bought for me :)

Dejavu

I'm back at Marbella Club for a special reason and it feels like a dejavu. I guess I'm winding the film back and looking for a happy end.

The second most important person at Marbella Club is the lovely Count Rudy Schonburg who was here almost from the start. Here in our background is the first one, the founder, Alfonso de Hohenlohe, now to admire at the famous Piano Bar

Rudy is married to the Princess Maria Luisa de Prusia Condesa Schonburg. She is the founder of Concordia Association who has been doing a great job for the battle of aids for 16 years at Costa del Sol.

The Manager of the Bar is the handsome Isidoro who together with his team makes everyone feel at home.

The other person who makes you feel at home and adds a great atmosphere is of course the great Pianist
