Forever Greece

On my Forever Forthieth...
It takes a lot of research to plan a 4-day birthday celebration. On one of the days I wanted my guests to enjoy an authentic lunch and real Greek atmosphere. We found the perfect place - Elias Fish Taverna at Cape Sounio. This simple and charming taverna has a splendid view across the water to the Temple to Poseidon, the ancient god of the sea, and is half an hour's scenic drive from The Margi.

The food was really amazing at Elias Fish Taverna. So authentic! It included Greek salad, octopus, white bait, tzatsiki and fresh caught fish.

Here we are enjoying the local Greek atmosphere…

The fish was really good!

We spent one leisurely day at the Astir Beach Club just a stroll from The Margi.

On the last day we dined in Athens with this even more famous view...

The Acropolis looms up above you at
restaurant Dionyssis

At night the view is even more striking...
