Oriental experience

A little more about dining in Hong Kong, starting at a very good place: The Mandarin Oriental. Celebrating its 50th anniversary next year, this deluxe hotel delights visitors with the ultimate in Asian design and service, and a fabulous choice in food…

The hotel has 10 bars & restaurants, three of them with Michelin stars, Pierre (2 star, French cuisine), Man Wah (Chinese), and the beautiful Mandarin Grill (see last night’s blog). Here we are lunching at Man Wah on the 25th floor:

At the Mandarin Oriental design is an intimate part of the luxury experience and at the Man Wah the decor is as stunning as the food and the views:

The Chinnery: intimate atmosphere,
fine British cuisine and a fabulous collection
of single malt whiskies
And cocktails with views...

The Mandarin Oriental has a stunning location overlooking Victoria Harbour.  You are central and well placed for sorties out on the town for the glitter and dazzle of exotic Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Marathon has been a popular attraction for some years now, coming up again on February 24. The route goes through some of the world's most spectacular urban scenery...
